February 3

Over the past few weeks, I have posted notes about Chloe in the blog "Comments" section. Please check them out for more information.

Chloe continues to wiggle her way into our hearts! Her personality has really come through now that she knows us well. She really "helicopter" wags her tail when we talk sweet to her! She is a very happy dog. She is not a barker or a chewer. She only gives a whine or woo hoo when it's dinner or play time! She is VERY smart. When she talks to you, she has a purpose in mind. One adorable thing she does: When she is trying to get close to you for pet time or for you to pay attention to her, she "chatters" her teeth. She is not cold or uncomfortable. It seems to be an "I'm excited!" thing. So cute!

Chloe's favorite things are her dinner, her stuffed animals, and snuggling. Every night she lays on me while we watch t.v. If I pet her, great! If not, she just lays her head on me and falls asleep. She is a wonderful companion. She lets my daughter lay on her and seems to love it. She is very tactile and really wants to be in contact with you. She likes children...mine do not phase her! She does well in a quiet environment...and in a crazy one. Very adaptable. She is not easily startled or anxious. She is a "go with the flow" kind of girl!

Are you ready to adore this precious creature? She will certainly steal your heart with her gorgeous looks and delightful personality!!!

Boy, are we in trouble! We started fostering Chloe (aka Angel in Blue) nearly two weeks ago, and we love her already. Chloe came to us from a household that had to move suddenly and could not take her. They were heartbroken, but we assured them that we would give her a good foster home until a new family arrived and made her their own. My husband is starting to worry that I love her a little too much already!!!

Chloe is FABULOUS. She is gorgeous and sweet and oh-so-funny! She walks well on a leash, is housebroken, climbs stairs like a pro, sleeps through the night, and loves to be petted. She is not skittish at all. She likes kids. She is a wonderful, wonderful dog.

My favorite thing about Chloe is her "dog joy." When she is in the mood to play, look out! We laughed so hard that we all cried when we saw her play for the first time. She doesn't need your help...she will grab a stuffie and start throwing it into the air! She catches it, pounces on it, and leaps around the room. We call it "The Joy in Her Tail!" Truly hilarious to watch. Chloe fetches and catches and wags like crazy. She is a delight.
