Boy, are we in trouble! We started fostering Chloe (aka Angel in Blue) nearly two weeks ago, and we love her already. Chloe came to us from a household that had to move suddenly and could not take her. They were heartbroken, but we assured them that we would give her a good foster home until a new family arrived and made her their own. My husband is starting to worry that I love her a little too much already!!!

Chloe is FABULOUS. She is gorgeous and sweet and oh-so-funny! She walks well on a leash, is housebroken, climbs stairs like a pro, sleeps through the night, and loves to be petted. She is not skittish at all. She likes kids. She is a wonderful, wonderful dog.

My favorite thing about Chloe is her "dog joy." When she is in the mood to play, look out! We laughed so hard that we all cried when we saw her play for the first time. She doesn't need your help...she will grab a stuffie and start throwing it into the air! She catches it, pounces on it, and leaps around the room. We call it "The Joy in Her Tail!" Truly hilarious to watch. Chloe fetches and catches and wags like crazy. She is a delight.

I love to watch them play when they do that. My first two greys did that and would actually stop if I tried to join in.

We have had the pleasure to foster Chloe for the past 6 weeks. Folks, this is one great dog! I need to post some new photos because her "head shot" does not capture her beauty!

Chloe has settled right in to our crazy home life. She LOVES her breakfast and dinner and gives us a "woo hoo!" and wags when it's time to eat! Makes me laugh! She still gets "The Joy," as we call it, which consists of her grabbing a stuffed animal and tossing it up in the air--to herself. She is quite the rebounder and could work in pro basketball. We laugh outloud when she starts this happy time.

Chloe is great on a leash, is completely housetrained, and is wonderful with children. She is quite a calm dog (except for the few minutes a day during which she is celebrating "The Joy!").

Chloe is THE BEST hugger/snuggler ever. She likes nothing better than to lay her head on you. She will fall asleep contorted in any position as long as she's near you. She's a sweetheart with quite a personality!!!

Poor Chloe. She desperately wants to play with my dogs, but they are not cooperating! Watson is terrified of everything, so he just hides. Kelly takes months to warm up to other dogs. So, Chloe wags and hops around trying to get their attention, and they just walk away from her! Then she looks at me! "Are YOU going to play???" I can not resist stopping everything to toss her the stuffed moose. How she LOVES it! The funniest part is that she races around the family room...only on the carpet. When she gets to the wood floor, she stops and turns on a dime. This is one agile dog. My husband commented that she was an astonishing catcher! She can twist and turn and leap on a 9x12 carpet like nothing you have ever seen. Then, there is nap time!!! -- Lauren
